We sell our work only through this website. We do not have any distributor or affiliation with companies in UK or anywhere in the world.

Lucia Fort's Studio, Art on Tiles was founded in 1993, and has since established a nationwide reputation for supplying hand-painted ceramic tiles of the highest quality.
The lasting beauty of this artwork comes from firing the tiles in a kiln.

Art on Tiles offers an almost unlimited variety of decorative tiles, from original hand-painted tiles, to a wide range of tiles decorated with fired ceramic decals. The design team works closely with clients during every stage of the process: from initial inquiry, to detailed design, to project completion. The team first sketches a design, and then prepares a sample for approval to ensure that colors match the client's request. Clients only pay for the tiles that contain artwork, not the filling tiles. Art on Tiles works with tiles that are sold in the open market, such as American Olean, Daltile, US Ceramic, Rialto, etc.

We offer 2 tiles lines: Hand painted tiles which you can choose from our great selection of tile murals and individual tile designs. On this line we can make any changes you may like. We can change colors, sizes, etc. Please see our hand painted catalog at: http://www.artontiles.com/Handpaintedtilescatalog.html

The second line is reproduction tiles; we have a very large quantity of tile murals and individual tile decos on pre -printed designs ready to be fired on the tile of your choice. Changes cannot be made on colors or sizes, but if you have a small budget you will find a great selection of tile murals for kitchen backsplashes and individual designs. These designs are kiln fired, and they are of the same quality as the hand painted line. Please review our catalog at: http://www.artontiles.com/reproduction-tiles.html

If you have any questions about any of our designs please email us at artontiles@artontiles.com
You need to include in your email the design number you are interested in.

How to order:
Once you have selected the design(s):
1) Select the tile brand and color background you want to use. If you click the window next to the buy button you will find several tile brands with color numbers. We offer several choices such as white, almond, bone, gloss and matte finish on several brands. Just make sure to order on the same brand you are using for your project. For a list of all the tiles we carry, and where you can buy the blank matching tiles you will need to finish your project, please read: http://www.artontiles.com/tilesbrands.html .
The last selection on the window next to the buy button is "I will send the tiles to be decorated". If you want to work with a tile that is not on our list, choose this option. We offer no discount if you choose to send your tiles. When you send us the tiles please include extra tiles in your package, and pack the tiles individually. Before the box is closed, shake the box in order to decide if it has been packed properly. If the contents of the box appear to move a lot you should add more peanuts, Styrofoam, bubble wrap, or even newspaper. The trick is that the tiles should not move in the box.

2) Once you have clicked the window with your tile selection, click the yellow buy button. A window will open on our secure shopping cart. Write your zip code and press enter or click on submit your choices. On the next window you can adjust quantity, and/or continue to shop. Once you see everything you want to order in the shopping cart, click on check out now. We recommend reading over the order and making sure all the designs you ordered are on the same tile you want to use. In the past we have received many orders with mistakes on the sizes, tile brands, and color numbers.
On this window you will see the shipping charges; you can also make any necessary corrections.

3) Once you click on "check out now" a window will open with our warranty and other important information. After reading this, please click on the check out button.

4) You will return to the order window and have a last chance to make any modifications on the order. Click "Check out"

5) A window will open for the selection of payment. You can select to pay with your credit card through the website or fax. You may also mail a check. Make your selection and click the narrow.

6) Fill out your credit card and shipping information and then click on submit secure order button. Please read the information and make sure it is all correct.

7) Once you finish your order you will receive a copy of your order. If you do not receive a copy of your order it is because you did not finish your order or your email address is incorrect. It is very important that the email address is correct in order to send you a tracking number and any questions about your order.

Custom Work
In order to help clients have the finest design as quickly as possible, Art on Tiles needs the following information:

1) Size of the backsplash and/or walls (height and width).

2) A list of the contents and colors clients prefers. Photos and/or sketches help the artists visualize the clients' ideas.

3) For those who have wallpaper in the area to be tiled, a sample will help the design team decide what colors are needed to match or incorporate onto the tiles.

4) An idea of the client's budget so that Art on Tiles will suggest something in line with this. The hourly rate is $60. The budget total will be divided by 60 (hourly rate), and this will give us the number of hours we have to develop and finish the project.
For those with less than $250 in their budget, we suggest clients check out our catalog of tiles decorated with ceramic decals.
Note: the hourly rate does not include the price of the tiles, packaging, and shipping.

5) When clients have already chosen the tiles to be used for their project, they need to let Art on Tiles know the brand name, color number/code, and dimension (4x4 or 6x6).
